North Cyprus ٰVisa
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus allows individuals to enter the country without a specific visa upon arrival. However, travelers should ensure a smooth border crossing by having pre-arranged return flight tickets, hotel reservations (or university admission forms), and relevant documents. Citizens of Iran, EU member states, CIS countries, Turkey, America, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, and Iraq do not need a visa, but all visitors must possess a passport valid for at least six months. For citizens of other countries, it’s recommended to verify visa requirements with the nearest Turkish embassy or representative office in North Cyprus. Since flights to North Cyprus have layovers in Turkey, transit visas for Turkey are required. Tourist visas for North Cyprus are available for leisure purposes, typically valid for 30 days, extendable up to 90 days with evidence of prepaid accommodations. Invitation-based visas are also available for individuals with family members in Cyprus, issued for up to 60 days and requiring an official invitation through a Notary.
